Jaque brings his creative and entrepreneurial spirit, passion for service, and a gift for motivating others to reach their full potential to The UpTeam. His strong work ethic was developed very early in life. At age 10, Jaque was employed on a dairy farm for 12-15 hours per day, 7 days a week. He is a first-generation college graduate who completed his studies in Economics as head of his class at Jackson State University while concurrently serving as a cadet in the Army ROTC Program.
Jaque served as a Healthcare Officer in the US Army Medical Service Command, leaving active duty in April of 2017. He experienced a broader understanding of the global community after serving for 4 years in Seoul, South Korea. His leadership skills have continued to develop over the years through his diverse experiences and exposure to coaches, leaders, peers, subordinates, mentors, family, friends, strangers, pastors and, most importantly, his parents.
Jaque started his first business, Hopson Economy Solution, LLC, in Texas in May of 2010, with the dream to connect people to opportunities and provide a better life for his family. He is an active member of his community, serving on several non-profit boards, and has earned the Paul Harris Fellow Plus Three designation from The Rotary. Jaque loves to learn and is in the process of earning his MBA from Texas A&M University Central Texas.

Shay Hopson
Co-Founder and Senior Hiring Consultant
Along with being a business woman on a mission, Shay is a wife, mother, sister, grandma, and a Co-Founder of The UpTeam! Originally from Lubbock and then raised in the Central Texas area, Shay and her family reside in the small town of Taylor right outside of Austin. She attended Austin Community College, Kaplan University, and Central Texas College.
With more than 20 years of Human Resources and Staffing experience, Shay says that one of her most rewarding accomplishments is to successfully place a candidate into a position, giving them a life tool. That position can mean different things to different people wherever they are in their life’s journey. It can be a career in which the employee prospers. It can be a means to feed their family. Or it can serve as a way to support their child’s education.
“My ‘why’ is that I believe in simply sharing what I have learned during the last 20 years with others so they can have the same opportunities to build their careers and life,” says Shay. “This way we can continue to bless thousands of people into ‘positions’ globally.”

Paula Baczewski
Senior Hiring and Operations Consultant
With experience in nonprofit management, recruiting, client relations, development, process improvement, and marketing and communications, Paula joined the team to help develop processes, training, and initiatives to support The UpTeam in their growth. While she loves working with a collaborative team to produce solutions, staffing holds a special place in her heart, and she enjoys working with clients and candidates to make that perfect match. Paula has lived in Austin for more than 30 years, is the proud mom of three adult children, and loves college football (mostly if her team is winning).

Maeve Davidson
Hiring Consultant
Maeve is a former educator and has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a Master’s in Education. She is passionate about helping people and building relationships, which makes her a fantastic recruiter! Since she has started with The UpTeam, Maeve has excelled at making placements and building client partnerships, and most notably recruited a CFO for one of our clients. Maeve has three pets and likes to bake!
Jacqueline Goff has experience in every vertical which aids in her wealth of knowledge when it comes to Business Development, Talent Acquisition, and Consulting Services. During almost every tenure, in every position for organizations like Dell, 3M, Department of Defense and, most recently, IBM, she was regularly recognized by superiors and peers for exceeding company goals. While at IBM she sourced, screened, interviewed, and recruited for positions such as CTO, CSO, and other C-Suite level executives in the IT Industry. She was often quickly promoted over others because of her commitment to excellence and became the "go-to' for policy and procedure, HR and Talent, Community Outreach, and sometimes a friendly face to talk to that her associates know will keep their information confidential.
The wealth of knowledge and experience gained over the last 30 years has allowed her to make an extraordinary impact for many organizations. In addition to the actual work, the personal and professional relationships that she has been able to cultivate is an invaluable asset.
In her personal life, Jacqueline enjoys cooking and baking, outdoor activities, quality brewed coffee, a great martini :-) and spending time with family and friends.
As a Hiring Consultant with The UpTeam Consultants, Lara is responsible for managing client development and interaction, recruiting, and mentoring others. She works hard to make strong connections with people looking for roles that suit their skills and make the most positive impact on their lives. Lara has worked at two Top 25 Fortune companies and for a nonprofit where she helped people with long term disabilities to gain professional experience. She takes pride in her accomplishments, mastering several recruiting industries, most recently Hardware Engineering. Outside of work, Lara loves nature, gardening, reading while relaxing by a pool, and absolutely loves the beach which she tries to visit monthly if possible. At home you can find Lara cooking, organizing and walking her dog.

Elizabeth Moliter
Business Consultant and Coach
Elizabeth Moliter, MA, is a Business Consultant, Coach, and Motivational Speaker with a varied career across a range of industries including staffing, non-profit, real estate, and the arts.
Elizabeth began to really hone her business and leadership skills while working onsite at investment banks in the fast-paced and high-stakes New York Financial District to make ends meet while pursuing an acting career.
In 2001, she made the decision to leave New York City for Austin, Texas where she found a welcoming environment to foster her business career while exploring projects that fed her soul. She began pursuing songwriting in earnest and formed a folk-rock band with her twin sister.
She also continued to develop as a businesswoman, and quickly became one of the top producers in the Austin real estate market while leading other professionals as Director of Sales and Marketing for several development projects in the urban core.
More recently, she served as VP of the Board of Directors for a non-profit firm where she also worked in an executive leadership position. In this role, she engaged teams to provide satisfying professional job opportunities for individuals with disabilities, experiencing first-hand the importance of mission-driven work.
A graduate of The College of William and Mary in Virginia with a BA in Theatre Arts, Elizabeth furthered her education to better support, mentor, and coach leaders, employees, and jobseekers by pursuing a Masters Degree in Human Dimensions of Organizations from the University of Texas at Austin which she earned in 2017.

Meredith Perry
Senior Hiring Consultant
As Senior Hiring Consultant for The UpTeam Consultants, Meredith has been with the company since its inception and serves as a part of the leadership team. She has been and continues to be involved in the strategy and growth of the company. Meredith is largely responsible for the training and development of our internal recruiters as well as managing the recruitment for a variety of industries, including bicycle industry, cyber security, game industry, and more. Meredith is a native Austinite, a singer-songwriter, and mother to two wonderful kiddos!

Priscilla Ritchie
Hiring Consultant
Priscilla is dedicated to helping people better their lives with good opportunities. A former owner of a staffing company for 18 years, Priscilla brings over 25 years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition. She has also been a nurse for 35 years, allowing her to bring that knowledge to The UpTeam in healthcare staffing. Priscilla has excellent communication skills, a dedication to client relationships, and a strong work ethic. Her hobbies include cooking/eating to heal your body and researching studies for wellness.
Nastascia has been with The UpTeam since April of 2022. She has an extensive background in healthcare and corporate administration, and thrives on supporting and collaborating with her team. Nastascia was born, raised, and attended college in Texas and, in her free time, she enjoys traveling and listening to music.
Zach is a long time bicycle industry veteran with a solid track record as a mechanic and customer service professional. Having worked on both sides of the counter, including time with the largest E Bike manufacturer in America, Zach is excited to apply his industry knowledge to your business to help find the best people with the most experience.
